Cherry Blossoms in DC!!

The cherry blossoms in DC have bloomed! It was an absolutely beautiful weekend here in DC. It was 75-85 all weekend - couldn't have been any better. My sister and Lindsey visited me since Jimbo headed up north for a bachelor party in New Hampshire. We had such a great time. We booked a 45 minute cherry blossom yacht cruise. We also did a little BBQ, visited with my Aunt and Uncle and also did some shopping. It was fun! 

Friday night we met up with my Aunt Joyce and Uncle Dennis at my cousin Pat's restaurant in Old Town Alexandria. We had a few drinks and dinner, then of course had some ice cream. :) It was a gorgeous night, we walked around and saw all the boats and a man who plays water glasses. He was amazing!

I was inspired by all the beautiful flowers, so I took a picture of my tulips. Jimmy knew we were having some visitors this weekend, so he bought a few flowers to brighten up the house. :)

  Here is Cal’s journal :) Saturday Feb 18 We packed our big van and drove to NEW YORK CITY.  It was a long drive. We got to play the switch for a little bit, and we also rested. We got Subway turkey sandwiches on the way to New York. We stopped at a rest stop to go pee. It was crowded. Then continued driving to New York. We got to the hotel in new york and our room was not ready. We walked to central park and climbed rocks and took pictures of birds. We saw some big horses that had carriages on them for people to have a ride around the park. We went to the central park zoo but it was closed. We then found mom and dads friend Lauren and we got pizza together. Dad helped her get a taxi home. We went to bed in the hotel and saw lots of lights and buildings. Sunday Feb 19 We went back to Central Park to feed the birds and eat bagels. This is What Miscarriage Looks Like…

Me and Jim have some hard news to share. We originally did not think we were going to post something so personal - but while going through this experience, I feel it’s important to share our story and hopefully help other people going through this same emotional roller coaster. It’s sad, it’s frustrating, it’s scary, and quite frankly it is ROUGH.   Here is our story - We surprisingly found out we were expecting over the Fourth of July, our favorite holiday and our favorite week with our favorite people. Naturally, it felt exciting because it was an awesome time. Nonetheless, we were shocked and terrified because our youngest is five. Quite the age gap when you have three kids in 26 months. Fast forward: On Friday, September 24, 2021, when I was 16 weeks pregnant, we found out we were having our fourth boy. We were excited and not at all surprised haha. Cadens Feb Vacation journal

 Here is Mr Caden Francis! Saturday Feb 18 We rented a new car and packed it up on Saturday morning.  We then drove to New York.  It took almost 4 hours! We did a little bit of television, then we rested with our blankets and pillows and then we ate Subway sandwiches.  When we got to NY, we went to Central Park! There were so many birds there. We took a lot of pictures of birds at the New york park (the birds were fat). It was SO FUNNY! We then saw Dad’s friend Lauren and got pizza with her. We watched some youtube videos while we were at dinner. The pizza was so yummy.(My Favorite Bird in the world.) Sunday Feb 19  On Sunday morning we woke up in NY city. We found a place that sold bagels!!! We each ordered a bag and walked back to Central Park. We were sad when we found out the bird sanctuary was closed until 11 o'clock.
