Adventures of Conor & Caden

It has been a long time since I last blogged because we've been super busy! So what better to write about than all of our recent adventures...

Jim was recently up north for Cakes and Lisa's wedding when I realized I was out of Caden's hypoallergenic formula. I literally had no choice but to venture out with both boys ALONE. I was so nervous...could I do it?? I started small and figured I would walk over to the grocery store. I didn't know if they carried the Nutramigen formula, so I asked Chrissy to call them...haha it saved me a useless trip! They did in fact carry it, so we were good to go; they even had it waiting for me at the Customer Service counter.


I bought the formula, as well as a few other groceries, and showed a million people Conor and Caden. Everyone is so excited to see twins!


I even made a quick stop at Starbucks! I was quite proud of my little adventure out for the first time alone.


Then it was time to get ready to drive up to Massachusetts. We left late on a Thursday and drove through the night. Here we are all packed up and ready for the road trip!


We met Nana and Gramps for the first time! "Baby B" Gramps is holding "Baby B" Caden. :)


First time in our Cape house!


We even had a chance to meet the Macomber sisters!


Anndddd we met Great Grammy and Great Grampa!!


What a whirlwind visit to Massachusetts this has been so far. So busy, but so fun!

  Here is Cal’s journal :) Saturday Feb 18 We packed our big van and drove to NEW YORK CITY.  It was a long drive. We got to play the switch for a little bit, and we also rested. We got Subway turkey sandwiches on the way to New York. We stopped at a rest stop to go pee. It was crowded. Then continued driving to New York. We got to the hotel in new york and our room was not ready. We walked to central park and climbed rocks and took pictures of birds. We saw some big horses that had carriages on them for people to have a ride around the park. We went to the central park zoo but it was closed. We then found mom and dads friend Lauren and we got pizza together. Dad helped her get a taxi home. We went to bed in the hotel and saw lots of lights and buildings. Sunday Feb 19 We went back to Central Park to feed the birds and eat bagels. This is What Miscarriage Looks Like…

Me and Jim have some hard news to share. We originally did not think we were going to post something so personal - but while going through this experience, I feel it’s important to share our story and hopefully help other people going through this same emotional roller coaster. It’s sad, it’s frustrating, it’s scary, and quite frankly it is ROUGH.   Here is our story - We surprisingly found out we were expecting over the Fourth of July, our favorite holiday and our favorite week with our favorite people. Naturally, it felt exciting because it was an awesome time. Nonetheless, we were shocked and terrified because our youngest is five. Quite the age gap when you have three kids in 26 months. Fast forward: On Friday, September 24, 2021, when I was 16 weeks pregnant, we found out we were having our fourth boy. We were excited and not at all surprised haha. Cadens Feb Vacation journal

 Here is Mr Caden Francis! Saturday Feb 18 We rented a new car and packed it up on Saturday morning.  We then drove to New York.  It took almost 4 hours! We did a little bit of television, then we rested with our blankets and pillows and then we ate Subway sandwiches.  When we got to NY, we went to Central Park! There were so many birds there. We took a lot of pictures of birds at the New york park (the birds were fat). It was SO FUNNY! We then saw Dad’s friend Lauren and got pizza with her. We watched some youtube videos while we were at dinner. The pizza was so yummy.(My Favorite Bird in the world.) Sunday Feb 19  On Sunday morning we woke up in NY city. We found a place that sold bagels!!! We each ordered a bag and walked back to Central Park. We were sad when we found out the bird sanctuary was closed until 11 o'clock.
